Q: Does the “detachable wall” design cause the cake to slide off during transport?
A:No. The cake sits on a fixed corrugated base board that remains stationary. The side walls are separate components that sit around the base board. As long as the box is carried upright (which the ribbon handle encourages) and placed on a flat surface before untying, the cake will not slide. The ribbon tension merely holds the walls snug against the base.
Q: Is the box grease-proof? Will buttercream seep through the cardboard?
A:Yes. We offer an optional PE lamination for very wet or oily products. All materials are food-grade and compliant with FDA standards.
Q: Can I get this box without the ribbon handle for simpler packaging?
A:Absolutely. The ribbon ports are optional. We can produce the box with a standard tuck-flap lid or a simple lid-and-base design without any holes. This is a popular cost-saving option for bakeries that do not require a carry handle.
